Ovo Patagonia is a unique experience unlike anything else; it is a lodging in a capsule nestled in a vertical stone wall, 270 meters high in the heart of Patagonia, with direct views of Mt. Fitz Roy and the Andes Mountains.
Reaching Ovo Patagonia is an adventure in itself, starting with a 45-minute hike through a native lenga forest, where your senses awaken and your mind and body prepare for what lies ahead. Upon arrival, you will be equipped with a helmet and harness, and alongside a specialized guide, you will traverse a short Via Ferrata leading you to the Ovo.
Ovo offers a comfortable and safe habitat within a translucent capsule nestled on a vertical wall, 270 meters above the ground. This unique experience invites you to connect with breathtaking views and a sensation of being high above the stunning Patagonian ecosystem.
There are four Ovos, each featuring three distinct areas: an upper level with a double bed and a transparent dome, perfect for stargazing at night and witnessing the incredible colors of sunrise; a living space with a bathroom in the central level; and a cozy net with cushions on the lower level. Each Ovo is equipped with satellite Wi-Fi and solar energy for electricity.
Participants must be 18 years or older and in good physical condition. The program includes transportation from El Chaltén, a guided hike, snack, dinner, and breakfast at the Ovo. You can choose to spend the night in Ovo or simply enjoy an afternoon culminating in a breathtaking sunset, accompanied by a sharing platter and wine.
